Class of 2016 Receives Canada's Highest Sporting Honour
TORONTO, Oct. 20, 2016 /CNW/ - On Tuesday, November 1, the Class of 2016 – comprised of six athletes and one sport "Builder" – will be formally inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame during a Gala presented by Canadian Tire. The day's celebrations commence with the official presentation of the inductees' Honoured Member jacket, a symbol of Canada's highest sporting honour. Inductees will give short remarks and be available for photos and media interviews following the media conference.
