Hill has been recognized by Savoy Magazine as one of the 2017 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors.  Dr. Hill joined the Board of Banc of California in June 2017 and previously served as director at over a dozen corporations, including numerous Fortune 500 companies.

Hill Enterprises, LLC, a consulting firm focusing on corporate governance, board organizational, and public policy issues.  Dr. Hill also serves as Vice Chair of the Rand Corporation and is a faculty member of the National Association for Corporate Directors Board Advisory Services Program.  Dr. Hill previously served as Senior Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs for the Los Angeles Times, and prior to that role, served as Dean of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.  Dr. Hill previously also served on the Board of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Investor Education Foundation and was a member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Investor Advisory Group.
