WEST CHESTER, Pa., May 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Each day, countless people across the country gather up their courage and continue to work while undergoing cancer treatment. It is often challenging—and fundamental.  For the fifth consecutive year, QVC and Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) are teaming up for "QVC and CEW Present Beauty with Benefits" to lend support for those in the midst of this battle and to prove just how beautiful it is to be so brave. During this multimedia event, scheduled for Thursday, May 18, 6-8 PM (ET) on QVC® and 8-10 PM (ET) on Beauty iQ®, beauty lovers will have the opportunity to shop for a cause and make a difference in the lives of those touched by the disease.

This year's event will feature a wide range of products including color cosmetics, fragrance, skin care and hair care from 24 prestige beauty brands such as MAC, SK-II, buxom, Dior, Givenchy, Shiseido, IOPE, bareMinerals®, Laura Geller NY, Dr. Dennis Gross® and many more. Eighty percent of the purchase price* of donated merchandise will benefit Cancer and Careers, a charitable program established by the CEW Foundation to empower, educate and provide essential tools to people with cancer so they can thrive in their workplace. As an added bonus, shoppers will receive a special six-piece gift with purchase and cosmetic case valued at $83**.

"As a result of this charitable initiative, Cancer and Careers has received $4.5 million since 2013," said Rachel Ungaro, Vice President of Merchandising for QVC. "Now in its fifth year, Beauty with Benefits is a perfect example of the impact the beauty industry can make when united around a common goal. We are proud to have such a wide assortment of beauty products, including six new brands participating this year, and we hope customers will be inspired to feel beautiful while giving back."

For nearly three decades, QVC has valued the importance of relationships. As part of this year's multimedia event, which launched on QVC.com May 1, QVC is reinforcing the power of relationships by collaborating with beauty influencers to help raise awareness and spread the word about supporting such an important cause. QVC is also inviting shoppers to donate $1.00 to Cancer and Careers, with 100 percent of all donations supporting the program. It's all part of QVC's ongoing commitment to support charitable causes that promote the success and wellness of women through the power of relationships.
