Cabot Corporation Prices $300 Million 4.00% Senior Notes Due 2029

Cabot Corporation (NYSE: CBT) today announced that it priced a public offering of $300 million of 4.00% senior unsecured notes due 2029. The notes are being sold to the public at a price of 99.704% of the face amount thereof. Cabot will pay interest on the notes semiannually on January 1 and July 1 of each year, beginning January 1, 2020. The sale of the notes is expected to close on June 20, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions. Cabot intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay a portion of its outstanding commercial paper and the remainder, if any, for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, and US Bancorp are the joint bookrunning managers for the offering.
