| AsiaBaseMetals Inc. is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is focused on the exploration and development of metals, including precious metals, such as gold and silver; base metals, such as zinc, and alkali metals, which include cobalt and lithium. It has projects in North-Central Peru and British Columbia, Canada. The Gnome project comprises over 12 mineral claims in the heart of an area that is home to both the Cirque and the Cardiac Creek Deposits, which is located approximately 35 kilometers (km) southeast along with trend from Teck Resources Limited Cirque deposit and 15 km southeast of the Cardiac Creek deposit. The Company has an option agreement to acquire a 70% interest in the Paisano Gold Project, covering over 2,700 hectares in the prolific La Libertad Mining District, a district hosting several precious metals deposits, in North-Central Peru (the Property). The Property is in immediate proximity to various operating mines, including Lagunas Norte and La Arena. |
