Costco Wholesale Corporation Reports March Sales Results

ISSAQUAH, WA--(Marketwired - Apr 6, 2016) - Costco Wholesale Corporation ("Costco" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: COST) today reported net sales of $10.71 billion for the month of March, the five weeks ended April 3, 2016, an increase of three percent from $10.40 billion during the similar period last year.

For the thirty-one weeks ended April 3, 2016, the Company reported net sales of $68.96 billion, an increase of two percent from $67.59 billion during the similar period last year.

Comparable sales for the five-week and thirty-one week periods ended April 3, 2016, were as follows:
