Workday changed the way Instacart does business

The majority of Instacart's workforce -- which is constantly expanding and shifting -- is comprised of both full-time employees and contingent workers who serve as personal shoppers in densely populated cities across the U.S.

With rapid growth came disparate data sources and unwieldy administrative processes such as manual workflows and spreadsheet-driven HR reports that could not scale to support future business growth nor meet the needs of a diverse, on-demand workforce.
