FAIR Health is a national, independent nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing transparency to healthcare costs and health insurance information. It possesses the nation's largest collection of private healthcare claims data. FAIR Health licenses data products and analytics to many groups in the healthcare sector and provides free consumer resources online and through mobile Apps.
FAIR Health requires flexible and scalable IT infrastructure to support a variety of data products, analytical tools and processing systems utilized by insurers and self-insurers, third-party claims administrators, employers, providers, hospitals and healthcare systems, government agencies, researchers and others.
Facing rapid business expansion, FAIR Health chose QTS for hybrid colocation along with a geographically dispersed disaster recovery solution. The QTS environment leverages software-defined control, real-time analytics, and highly flexible connectivity featuring PacketFabric's cloud networking technologies.
QTS worked closely with FAIR Health to design the solution that connects FAIR Health's primary production environment with a separate testing center and disaster recovery solution located in another part of the country.
