Ingersoll Rand Increases Dividend by 18 Percent

SWORDS, Ireland -- 

The Board of Directors for Ingersoll-Rand plc (NYSE:IR), a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments, declared a quarterly dividend of $0.53 cents per ordinary share, reflecting an 18 percent increase and an annual dividend rate of $2.12 per share, up from $1.80 per share. The company has paid consecutive quarterly cash dividends on its common shares since 1919 and annual dividends since 1910.

The dividend is payable September 28, 2018, to shareholders of record on September 7, 2018.
