DWANE CASEY DONATES TO HELP CANADIANS RE-ENTER THE WORKFORCE

TORONTO, July 28, 2016 /CNW/ -- Throughout the month of July, people from all over Canada have been participating in the Moores Clothing for Men Canadian Suit Drive, where donators can drop off gently-used professional attire to any of the 126 Moores stores across the country. This July, Dwane Casey, head coach of the Toronto Raptors, partnered with Moores to show his support for the Canadian Suit Drive by donating suits of his own to the cause.

"There will always be opportunity to give back, no matter how many times you do," says Casey. "Not only do you feel good for helping out, you also feel a sense of solidarity with your community. If you haven't already donated, I encourage you to go to your nearest Moores store now and help support this extraordinary cause."

The Canadian Suit Drive continues to gain more traction with every passing year, as the purpose of the initiative inspires more support and donations. The personal donations from Coach Dwane Casey and TV host, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Nick Cannon, have helped encourage many of you to donate this year putting the 7th Annual Suit Drive on track to be the most successful one ever.

With the Canadian Suit Drive wrapping up this Sunday, July 31, 2016, Canadians still have a few days left to give back to their community and help men and women looking to get back into the workforce. Every donor will receive 50 per cent off their next purchase at any Moores Clothing for Men location nationwide.

The Canadian Suit Drive is symbolized by a blue hanger. To help spread the word about this campaign, Moores is encouraging Canadians to share the #SuitDrive post found on its Facebook and Twitter pages. For every share, the company will donate $1 (up to $25,000) to the local recipient organizations they have partnered with.

Donors are also encouraged to help raise awareness by sharing a photo of an empty hanger in their hometown, identified by a unique backdrop, using #SuitDrive. Moores will be reposting their favorite photos throughout the month of July.
