Peoples Bank Welcomes Two New Executives

MARIETTA, Ohio, April 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Peoples Bancorp Inc. ("Peoples") (NASDAQ: PEBO) today announced that its banking subsidiary, Peoples Bank, has added two new executives to its team - Cindy Crotty, as Executive Vice President – Regional President, and Doug Wyatt, as Executive Vice President – Commercial Banking.

Crotty will report to Sulerzyski and manage all operations of Peoples Bank in northeast Ohio and surrounding markets. "Our goal is to become a more prominent factor in the northeast Ohio banking sector. Cindy's broad background in banking management and leadership will be instrumental in that market," said Sulerzyski.

Prior to joining Peoples Bank, Crotty spent the past 20 years in leadership roles at Keybank, most recently as Executive Vice President Commercial Segment Head. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia. She resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and volunteers on the boards of Beech Brook in Cleveland, Ohio and Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Crotty will begin her new position with Peoples Bank on April 11 in the Beachwood, Ohio office.

Wyatt will report to Dan McGill, Peoples Bank's Executive Vice President– Chief Commercial Banking Officer, and will be responsible for developing and leading a significant portion of the commercial line of business including central and southeast Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky. Wyatt most recently served as Executive Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker for Fifth-Third Bank where he was responsible for leading the Commercial Banking Division for central and southeast Ohio, eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. He earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Miami University. Wyatt is a Stonier Graduate School of Banking University of Delaware graduate and a former Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.

A resident of Dublin, Ohio, he is active with The Salvation Army, Big Brother Big Sisters, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Columbus, Ohio. Wyatt will begin his work with Peoples Bank on May 2 in the Worthington, Ohio office.
