NOVI, Mich., March 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Stoneridge, Inc. (NYSE: SRI) announced it has received a Partnership award from Daimler AG for the international roll-out of driver information systems for FUSO, Freightliner and Mercedes-Benz trucks. Stoneridge's President and Chief Executive Officer, Jon DeGaynor, accepted the award during the awards ceremony which took place at the Mercedes-Benz Customer Centre in Sindelfingen, Germany on Feb. 28.

Ten companies were selected from Daimler global suppliers for achieving excellence in Quality, Partnership and Innovative Strength. Stoneridge was one of three suppliers recognized in the Partnership category.

The trophies were presented by various members of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, in each case together with the heads of the Daimler respective procurement departments, Klaus Zehender, Executive Vice President Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement and Supplier Quality, Marcus Schoenenberg, Head of Global Procurement Trucks and Buses, and Andreas Burkhart, Head of International Procurement Services.
