The Estée Lauder Companies Elects Two New Members to Its Board of Directors

NEW YORK -- 

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (NYSE:EL) announced today that Jennifer Hyman and Jennifer Tejada have been elected to its Board of Directors (the “Board”) and that both directors have also joined the Audit Committee, effective as of April 16, 2018. Ms. Hyman is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rent the Runway, Inc. Ms. Tejada is the Chief Executive Officer of PagerDuty, Inc.

Ms. Hyman, 37, is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rent the Runway, which rents designer apparel and accessories to women, both on-demand and through its subscription service, and has established designer rental as a utility in women’s everyday lives. Since co-founding the company in 2009, she has grown the business to include nine million members, 1,200 employees and 500+ designer brands.

Prior to founding Rent the Runway, Ms. Hyman was the Director of Business Development at IMG, a global talent management company. She graduated cum laude from Harvard University and received her master’s degree from the Harvard Business School.

Ms. Tejada, 47, is the Chief Executive Officer of PagerDuty, a digital operations management platform for businesses. Under her leadership, PagerDuty has doubled its revenue, grown its customer portfolio to over 10,000 businesses, including half of the Fortune 100, and expanded its global footprint in key international markets such as Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

Prior to joining PagerDuty, Ms. Tejada was President and Chief Executive Officer of Keynote Systems, a software company specializing in digital performance analytics and web and mobile testing. For more than 25 years, she has helped build and transform multinational companies. Ms. Tejada graduated from the University of Michigan and currently sits on the board of Puppet Labs, Inc.
