Volt Information Sciences Promotes Nancy Avedissian to Chief Legal Officer

Volt Information Sciences, Inc. (“Volt” or the “Company”) (NYSE-AMERICAN: VOLT), an international provider of staffing services and managed service programs, today announced the promotion of Nancy Avedissian to Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary. Since October 2016, Ms. Avedissian has served as the Company’s SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, based in Orange, California.

Ms. Avedissian’s role will now include oversight of the Company’s legal function in Europe & Asia, in addition to managing a high-performing legal and contracts department in the U.S. Over the past several years Ms. Avedissian has led divestitures of Volt’s non-core businesses, advised on financing transactions and counseled the Company through organizational changes, the transitioning of senior executives, and the seating of new directors.

Prior to joining Volt, Ms. Avedissian served as General Counsel and Vice President, Legal Affairs at Worldwide Clinical Trials, a leading contract research organization, where she managed an international team and focused on commercial transactions and corporate law and governance. For the first decade of her career, Ms. Avedissian practiced as a transactional attorney at Milbank LLP, where she focused on mergers & acquisitions, securities, and corporate finance.
