Western Alliance Bancorporation CEO and CFO Win Places on Institutional Investor’s 2018 All-America Executive Team

Western Alliance Bancorporation (NYSE:WAL) today announced that Robert Sarver, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Dale Gibbons, Chief Financial Officer, have been named to Institutional Investor magazine's 2018 All-America Executive Team.

The two Western Alliance leaders are honored in the Best CEO and Best CFO categories, respectively, among Banks/Mid-Cap and Small-Cap – with Mr. Sarver ranked #3 Best CEO overall and Mr. Gibbons ranked #1 Best CFO overall. For the 2018 ranking, Institutional Investor collected the opinions of 3,046 portfolio managers and buy-side analysts, and 1,002 sell-side analysts. More than 130 companies were nominated in this category.

Because of the high rankings earned by both Mr. Sarver and Mr. Gibbons for their corporate leadership and investor relations expertise, Western Alliance Bancorporation also was listed among the magazine’s “Most Honored Companies.”
