WomenInc. Magazine Names Two LP® Board Members as Year’s ‘Most Influential’

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- 

WomenInc. Magazine, a leading publication dedicated to the comprehensive coverage of women’s achievement in business, named Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP, NYSE: LPX) Board of Directors Lizanne Gottung and Tracy Embree to its 2019 Most Influential Corporate Directors list. The annual award honors women who have achieved professional excellence at the highest level and serves as one of the most comprehensive listings of women executives, influencers and achievers contributing leadership to corporate boards.

Appointed to the LP Board of Directors in 2006, Gottung serves as the Environmental, Quality & Compliance Committee chairperson and a Compensation Committee member. She retired from Kimberly-Clark Corporation in 2017 after a 35-year career in a variety of human resources, manufacturing and operational roles of increasing responsibility. After a distinguished career, Gottung’s final role before retirement was chief human resources officer and executive vice president, senior adviser to Kimberly-Clark’s chief executive officer and chairman.

Embree has served on the LP Board of Directors since 2016 and sits on the Finance and Audit and Environmental, Quality & Compliance Committees. She has worked at Cummins, Inc., a global power leader, since 2000 and is currently serving as president of Cummins Distribution Business Segment. Prior to this, Embree was president of Cummins Components Business Segment and has held a variety of general management, marketing and sales leadership positions within the company over the last two decades.
